Emily Goedde and Meg Berkobien founded the Graduate-Student Translation Workshop at the University of Michigan in 2013. The Workshop was inspired by the fact that, although we work with materials from different periods and continents, we would benefit from the ability to discuss practical and theoretical issues raised by translating literary texts with our peers on a regular basis.
While the Workshop is not formally part of the ETC, most of the work it creates is printed on ETC equipment. This work is not for sale if funded by the University. In essence, the Workshop has been an exciting testing grounds for all we hope to do!
